My Wife Left Me

Yes, my wife left me…

It’s been over a month…

And I am feeling it…

I want her back…

Luckily she will be back in my arms tonight after 30 long days apart.

She has been in Honduras visiting her family and friends, plus getting to know her new niece Melody!

This is the longest amount of time we have been apart since we got married in 2015, and it feels like a lot longer than a month.

I was in Michigan visiting friends and family, and attending a National Society of Black Engineers Convention, so my mind was preoccupied for a few weeks…

But when I came back home to St. Petersburg, FL...MAN I missed that woman!

I missed the working energy she brings to the table…

The balance she brings to my workday…Even when I give her that “I'm busy” stare.

I missed her humor, and even her laughing at her own jokes…

I missed our evening walks together…

And I missed her touch...I will let you use your imagination on this one 😍.

I have felt like I have learned so much about our relationship and myself over the past month, and know for sure that I picked the right one!

I look forward to our reunion.

Please forgive me if I am MIA for a few days 😄.
